Analysis of production process and product characteristics of seamless titanium tube

At present, the titanium seamless tube produced on the market generally adopts the cold-rolled vacuum annealing process, which is made into a tube blank from a titanium ingot through forging bar blanks, and the tube blanks are finally formed into seamless titanium tubes after multiple rolling and annealing processes. In the production of tube blanks, there are mainly two production processes, one way is drilling and extrusion to produce tube blanks. This method consumes a large amount of titanium metal, the wall thickness of the tube blank is uniform, and the selection of suitable glass lubricant becomes the key in extrusion, and the extruder with a larger tonnage is required, and the equipment investment is larger; The titanium consumption of this method is small, the thickness tolerance of the tube blank is slightly larger, and the phenomenon of impermeability sometimes occurs in the perforation process, and the head is stuck in the blank, which is a technical problem worthy of study in the current production technology. Although the processing technology of titanium alloy seamless pipe is relatively mature, due to the limitation of existing equipment, the current titanium pipe is mainly made of low-strength, low-alloyed pure titanium, titanium-molybdenum-nickel and other low-strength titanium pipes as the main material, and the processing technology is still mainly cold-rolled. The production of medium and high strength titanium alloy pipes, such as Ti-6Al-4V pipes, requires the use of warm rolling technology, that is, adding an induction heating device on the pipe rolling mill to further heat the titanium pipe and then roll.
